Quarter 2 - Lesson 5: Introduction to House Combinations - Part 2
We continue our studies of House Combinations using the chart of Luciano Pavarotti. His chart is particularly instructive as it allows us to discuss the various considerations that go beyond the basic rule that if the ruler of one house is in another, we go from the Sign to the Planet. And that this interference by a Planet with another house is seen as the relation of a cause to an effect.
When the ruler of one house is found in another, this does not guarantee that a combination will always occur and so we discuss the various considerations upon which a potential house combination hinges. To be able to determine if a combination occurs we must first take into account a planet's nature and zodiacal and terrestrial) state as well as external factors such as the person's age, gender, and social-economic conditions.
We must then consider if the planet that is creating the combination is bringing together like or dissimilar houses as well as if the combining planet is joining the influence of one or the other or both of the houses over which it may rule to the house where it is posited. These latter two considerations depend a lot on the combining planet's analogy with the respective houses involved in the potential combination.
