Quarter 8 - Lesson 3: Case Study - Leona Helmsley - Lawsuits and their outcome
Our case study covers the trail and conviction of Leona Helmsley for federal tax
evasion. She along with her husband Harry were American entrepreneurs who
specialized in property development in New York City during the 1970s and 80s.
Following the examination of Leona Helmsley's natal, we examine the primary
directions that fell during the Solar returns that cover the events of her
indictment in 1987, her subsequent trail and conviction, and her eventual
jailing in 1992.
Our emphasis is on discovering the concordant causes, that is those common causes
as observed in her primary directions that fell during the returns that brought
about and actuated the events as seen potentially in her natal chart.
Drawing from Chapter 14 of Book 23, we apply Morin's considerations to discover
the particular times of the aforementioned events. He states that first, the
directions must agree with the natal and that these designate the years of the
effects. Second, the Solar Returns must be in agreement through their own
similarity to the direction and the natal chart. And third and last, that the
Lunar Returns cooperate to the extent that they agree with the Solar Return,
the radical direction, and the natal, by reason of their similarity
